EGCC
The European Commission proposed the drafting of legislation regulating the instrument invested with legal personality (European Grouping of Cross-Border Cooperation, EGCC) supporting the conditions for implementation of cross-border cooperation (cross-border, trans-national and inter-regional) in the draft regulation on European Grouping of Cross-Border Cooperation approved and announced in June 2004.
The objective of the drafting of the regulation is to enable the establishment of a cross-border instrument invested with legal personality in the area of the Community, pursuant to which legal personality cooperation management and implementation tasks would become simpler and easier.
