On governmental level, the Network is supervised by the minister of national development and economy. Committed by the minister, the Network is directly managed by the president of the National Development Agency.
Within the Agency, the operational management is the task of the head of the Central Development Programme Office. The Network is run on regional level by the regional development agencies, including the employment of the members of the Network.
The regional level coordination between the Central Development Programme Office and the micro-regional offices is carried by the regional network directors working at the regional development agencies. Their task is the coordination on territorial and programme level and the management and supervision of the operative tasks of the coordinators.
Following the principle of regionalism, the Micro-regional Coordination Network strongly build on the system of institutions of the regions, the local expertise and plans, however, during its operation it realizes the central aims and goals with a standard practice.
