Europe Tour – Programmes for you and the whole country!25 August 2008

NDA is launching a programme series called Europe Tour with the aim of presenting results achieved with the help of EU funding, celebrating the phase of closed NDA calls, as well as presenting new application opportunities launched within the framework of the NHDP.

The programme series mobilising the entire region has been organised to present the results achieved by funding granted by the EU. The exciting programmes packed with sports and fun and games are an excellent way of presenting the various steps and phases of application opportunities.

The park located on Erzsébet Square in Budapest is the first stop on the Europe Tour to be launched on 20 August. Interesting events for both young and old will be organised at the programme starting at 10 a.m.; visitors will be able to join in fun competitions, enjoy the delightful tastes of the European cuisine offered at the stands, as well as the shows, performances and the sports show. The Developments Promenade will be set up, where anyone interested is provided with plenty of useful information on EU calls for applications and everyone can take a look at the plotting board set up in Hungary for the very first time.
Short and long distance fun and interesting sports events will be organised at each venue; anyone keen on trying out the state-of-the-art technology urban vehicle, the segway  is free to do so at the venue called Path to the Future.

In addition, family, children’s and adult programmes will be on all day: visitors will have the opportunity to play streetball or football on the pitches set up in the Park grounds, try shooting goals in the handball goal with holes, enjoy the summer ice skating rink, play chess on the giant chess table or join in programmes organised at the Ability Park venue, climb the wall, play foot rex and petanque, have fun in the jumping castle and take part in many other exciting programmes. Famous Hungarian sportspersons will assist visitors in the sports programmes.

Among others, the following artists will perform on stage: Zséda, Best of Danubius, Megastars, as well as Ádám and Éva.

Programme hosts: Éva Barabás, Ferenc Rákóczi and László Lovász
