Villa Park Built in Csokonyavisonta 3 September 2008
The investment consortium was approved funding of 135 million HUF for the construction of the Relax Villa Park apartment houses within the framework of the Regional Operational Programme of the National Development Plan.
State Secretary for Research and Development Mr István Kolber, President of the South Transdanubian Regional Development Council Mr Ferenc Feigl and President of the South Transdanubian Regional Tourism Committee Mr Árpád Sárdi handed over the investment costing nearly a total of 500 million HUF in Csokonyavisonta on 29 August.
The state-of-the-art Villa Park located directly next to the Csokonyavisonta Spa Bath offering top quality medicinal waters unique in Europe is now open to guests. The latest tourist facility of the region and Somogy County has just been handed over. Hotel Villa Rosa Thermal Spa Village Ltd. constructed the 64-room Relax Thermal Villa Park in partnership with the Kaposvár-based company Somogy County Forest and Timber Industry Corp. and Columbus Tours Ltd.
The consortium built 8 fully-equipped rooms in each of the 8 apartment houses. All rooms are fully equipped with a separate kitchen, cable television and Internet connection. A restaurant is open to guests in the park. Handicap access is ensured to the rooms located on the ground floor, which means that getting around the village is not a problem for disabled persons.
Main programmes to be offered at the hotel: Danube-Drava National Park eco-programmes, boat excursions along the Dráva River, hunting, horse-riding, fishing, as well as thermal, remedial and wellness programmes.
