Public Consultation of Action Plans for 2009-2010 Underway 9 October 2008

The government discussed and launched the public consultation of the 2009-2010 action plans of the State Reform Operational Programme, the Economic Development Operational Programme and the Transport Operational Programme. Remarks and recommendations in connection with the action plans can be sent in up to 18 November 2008 to the Partnership Forum set up for presenting opinions. Public consultation is completely open, i.e. following registration anyone is able to post remarks in connection with the Action Pans.

The National Development Agency compiles action plans covering a 2-year period in order to substantiate the funding made available within the framework of the New Hungary Development Plan. The first series of action plans covered the 2007-2008-period.

The action plans present specific tender and priority schemes envisaged to be launched. The National Development Agency once again counts on the recommendations and remarks of the representatives of professional, interest representation and social organisations, as well as the economic and non-profit sphere and local governments for compiling the final versions of the action plans covering the 2009-2010-period to be presented to the government.

Please send remarks and recommendations to the Partnership Forum up to 18 November 2008, on which platform - following registration - anyone is free to make comments and post remarks in connection with any particular scheme set out in the action plans by following their given structure.

Each individual person making recommendations will be sent a reply message on the acceptance of the recommendation they made, or, if not accepted, explaining the reasons for rejecting the given recommendation, following the close of public consultation.

We wish to draw your attention to how public consultation of the action plans will continue over the next few weeks as well. The action plans of the following operational programmes will be presented for public consultation during the next phase of negotiations: regional operational programmes, Electronic Administration Operational Programme, Environment and Energy Operational Programme, Social Renewal Operational Programme and Social Infrastructure Operational Programme.
