Hungary-Slovakia Cross-border Developments can now get Underway18 October 2008

The National Development Agency and the Ministry of Construction and Regional Development of the Republic of Slovakia announce a tender call within the framework of the Hungary-Slovakia Cross-border Cooperation Programme for 2007-2013.

What can funding be granted for? Funding made available within the framework of the present call targets cross-border cooperation implemented in the area of sustainable economic development, tourism, human resource development, education, culture and innovation, environmental and nature protection, as well as infrastructure development.      

Who are eligible to apply? The following organisations are eligible to submit applications and receive funding: local governments, local government associations, micro-regional associations, institutions managed by these organisations, non-profit organisations (churches, foundations, associations, public bodies and public benefit non-profit organisations), education institutions, as well as development councils and agencies and chambers.

At least one Hungarian and one Slovakian organisation operating in the eligible programme area must be integrated as a partner in implementation.  

How much funding is available? A total of 63 538 887 EUR ERDF Community funding is available within the framework of the call.

How is it possible to apply? Applications should be submitted to the Joint Technical Secretariat of the programme to the address provided below. Applications will be assessed within the framework of a one-round open, or two-round procedure, or, in certain cases, by concurrently applying the two procedures.

Midday, 15 December 2008 in the case applications submitted within the framework of the one-round procedure (Priority 1 and 2).

Midday, 17 December 2008 in the case applications submitted within the framework of the two-round procedure.
