New Building of Biotextima Kft. Opened in Bősárkány 1 October 2010
The main profile of Bio-Textima Kft. is the design, development and production of bio mattresses, spring mattresses, beds, furniture, as well as the production of wool blankets, pillows and accessories. In order to further increase the quality of manufacturing and its capacity, in 2004 the company moved to a new site in Bősárkány, which resulted in the further expansion of the range of products owing to the conditions of production and warehousing, as well as computer-aided design and product development.
In the funding awarded in the West Pannon Operational Programme under the call for applications “Site development”, they received EU support of 43.5 million HUF for the expansion of the existing warehouse and office and the transformation of capacities.
The project implemented at a total cost of 87 million HUF resulted in expansion of the building that houses the production and the related office and social blocks with a warehouse suitable for the storage of materials.
This larger area, expanded and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, was essential for ensuring long-term growth and serving innovative developments and also represents an improvement in the quality of service provided by the company.
The project ensures the retention of 28 jobs.
