Report on the Bodies Managing KTIA-OTKA Projects 3 June 2011
With the amendment of Act XC of 2003 on the Research and Technology Innovation Fund (KTIA) the management rights of the Research and Technology Innovation Fund were transferred to the Minister responsible for development policy on 1 January 2011. After this the National Development Agency (NFÜ) was promptly appointed as manager of the Fund.
As the Fund Manager NFÜ appointed the OTKA Office and MAG – Hungarian Economic Development Centre Zrt to act as intermediate bodies in the KTIA-OTKA joint tender projects.
For the supported projects, regarding professional and scientific tasks (including requests, and professional and financial reports) the OTKA Office will act as the single point of contact for the institutions and the leading researchers in the future (expectedly from 1 June 2011).
Outstanding and due professional and financial reports have to be submitted through OTKA's EPR system, and a paper copy that meets the requirements for format and content also needs to be sent to the OTKA Office. Regarding this issue the OTKA Office will contact leading researchers soon and at the same time it will open the electronic interface to submit reports. MAG Zrt handles the preparation of financing and transfers, in line with the professional proposals of the OTKA Office.
