Hungarian side accomplished the evaluation of the application submitted for FA8 (health) focus area, first loop26 September 2011
The National Development Agency announced its Call for proposal within Focus Area 8 of the Swiss-Hungarian Co-operation Programme on 16 July 2011, with the allocation of 13 million CHF.
Deriving from the speciality of the Focus Area, according to Art. 2.1. of Annex 2 of the Framework Agreement between the Swiss Federal Council and the Government of Hungary concerning the implementation of the Swiss-Hungarian Cooperation Programme declared by Government decree No. 348/2007. (XII.20.), projects favoured by the Government of Hungary had been identified. In this case, in line with 1240/2011. (VII. 15.) Government decree, the National Institute for Quality- and Organizational Development in Healthcare and Medicines is entitled to submit application for this focus area. Identification of the programme is a necessary, but not sufficient precondition for the support and does not lead to obligation to conclude the Project Agreement and the Project Implementation Agreement.
The aim of the assistance under Focus Area 8 is improving the health status in selected disadvantaged micro-regions of Hungary’s North Great Plain and North Hungary regions, with special focus on socially disadvantaged groups such as the Roma communities, children and the elderly.
Evaluation is managed in two loops, in the first loop the evaluation on the Hungarian side had been accomplished in August 2011, at present the evaluation of the Swiss side is ongoing. If the application qualifies for the second loop, the Final Project Proposal can be submitted, which should include all the necessary background documents. A positive decision in the first loop does not mean an automatic positive decision in the second loop.
