NDA invites visitors to New Széchenyi Plan tent2011. július 28.
Sziget Festival offers a number of programmes in addition to pop music specialities. One of our major goals is to get young people deal with their future opportunities while having decent entertainment and also to inform them about New Széchenyi Plan tenders.
The National Development Ministry in association with the National Development Agency invites visitors to the New Széchenyi Plan tent. We welcome our national and international guests with different programmes, information points, blue box photography, quizzes and souvenirs.
The NSZP tent is open from 9 September afternoon to 14 September late evening. Visitors in need of recreation may join yoga classes and enjoy the comfort of beanbag chairs in the morning, while from 11:00 to 16:30 every day we show Hungarian success films for movie lovers. Our special guests help us to discuss topics interesting young people most. Our on-stage talk-show features Kristof Bárdos, the inventor of MixGar song voting application, Ferenc Kumin politologist, Peter Kollányi a young, multi-awarded photographer, as well as multiple canoe word champion Csaba Hütner, the Hungarian Kayak-Canoe Federation’s coach responsible for next generation canoeists. Visitors are always involved in the conversations, for example by taking and retouching photos of them, drafting personal training plans, or by challenging them for a test of strength. The suitable music in the tent is provided by MixGar – the new application of young Hungarian developers, which can create playlists according to the musical taste of the people present in the tent. On Friday visitors can taste the excellent wines of ’Hétszőlő’ vinery from Tokaj wine region.
Blue Box photography, a highly popular feature of the VOLT Festival, will also be available in the tent: we merge the photo taken against a monochrome background with a humorous background photo chosen by the visitors, and they can also get the ready-made photos printed on the spot.
We offer sport lovers to test the ergo meter, the canoe paddle and the kneeling paddle, while guests more attracted by passive sports can organize table football competition.
Every evening, before the main concert on MR2 Stage, surprise presents are raffled among respondents who gave good answers for the day’s quiz questions.
At the NSZP information point called ‘What can I apply for?’ guests can learn about tender opportunities. Every visitor, who fills in the questionnaires about the results of the NSZP, will be given presents bearing the logo of the New Széchenyi Plan.
We are hopeful to raise youngsters’ awareness and encourage them to live with the opportunities offered by NSZP. We also invite visitors to the Facebook page of Sziget – New Széchenyi Tent. The first 500 likers enter a competition for a one-week ticket and other gifts.
Our guests are also welcomed from 9 August to 14 on the Civil Island, in the New Széchenyi Plan tent.
