Capacity-building and Institutional Cooperation between Beneficiary State and Norwegian Public Institutions, Local and Regional Authorities
The objective of the programme is to strengthen the capacities of Hungarian public institutions and to develop their human resources through co-operation with Norwegian institutions and authorities performing similar tasks and knowledge transfer.
The call for proposals aiming at the improvement of the quality of local public services, and development of the local economy, through capacity-building of local governments and enhanced co-operation is likely to be published in the summer of 2013. Additionally, within the programme, three pre-defined projects will be dedicated to the capacity development of the central administration and a fourth project will support co-operation between Hungarian and Norwegian associations of local government. At least 10% of the project budget must be spent on promoting gender equality.
Within the framework of this programme, each project will be implemented in partnership with one or several Norwegian institutions, so developing partnerships and exploration of possibilities for cooperation are necessary the earliest.
