The homepage of NDA won silver medal in the European Union RegioStars competition 3 July 2012
The 2012 RegioStars competition organised by the European Commission proved that the homepage of the National Development Agency (http://www.nfu.hu/) was considered an example to be followed at EU level.
Hungary took the second place on the imaginary podium, which was a huge achievement. Estonia-Latvia, Holland and Poland were the opponents in the final.
The purpose of the RegioStar award is to reward good practices, original and innovative ideas in the field of regional developments among the European Union member states which may also serve as good example for other European countries.
Five different categories were open this year for which a total of 107 applications were received. Hungary became second among the 20 applicants on the subject of information and communication with the homepage of the National Development Agency (http://www.nfu.hu/). The participants were asked to present homepages really successful in informing the public via the internet about the advantages offered by European Union applications.
