The Government supports employment, as well as social and public education developments with an additional HUF 43 billion through the New Széchenyi Plan 2 August 2012

The tenders announced now will facilitate the employment of people with reduced work capacity, social integration of homeless people, building up national professional network supporting people with autism, as well as the education of multiply disadvantaged children. A new EU fund of the amount of HUF 37 billion is available in the area of employment in line with the purpose of the New Széchenyi Plan. Government will grant for applicants in the area of public education in the framework of three new constructions more than HUF 4 billion, while it will grant HUF 2 billion by applications concerning social issues.

The Government has set aside close to HUF 37 billion  now, within the framework of employment. This fund is available  for supporting  people with reduced wor capacities, homeless people, future young entrepreneurs and people living with autism.

A special project announcement of a total allocation of HUF 11.7 billion was published for supporting the rehabilitation and employment of people with reduced work capacity.. The purpose is to prepare these people for employment, to facilitate their job finding, and to encourage the employers to employ them.

The target of another employment related construction published now is to strengthen the social integration of homeless people. This may be successful and effective in long term if it fosters their employment opportunities, it increases their employment and it settles their home situation. A fund of HUF 105 million is available for this special project.

The Government supports young people in becoming entrepreneurs with close to HUF 7 billion. The basic purpose of these tenders is to assist those young people, who plan to launch micro-enterprises. It is important that the projects have to be implemented outside the Central Hungarian Region.

The construction  called “Strengthening the capacity of nongovernmental organisations concerning labour market services” may be also applied for, in the convergence regions. This facility serves the development, and capacity strengthening of the nongovernmental organisations that provide labour market services. The announced fund available is HUF 1.6 billion. Alliances, foundations, non profit companies may submit proposals for this facility.

The purpose of the tender called “Transit employment in the construction industry” published with a budget of HUF 3 billion  is to facilitate the labour market employment of disadvantaged people with the aid of transit employment programs. This tender is available throughout the country except in the Central Hungarian Region.

A special announcement with an amount of HUF 800 million was also published for building out a national professional consulting network for supporting the life quality of people living with autism. This project wishes to achieve  improvement of  social integration of people living with autism and their families, as well as their employment.

A special measure announced with a budget of HUF 3 billion  supports the strengthening of the development and the capacities of the services of the employment service. Among others proposers may develop the labour market information system and the services provided for the clients.

An announcement the purpose of which is to improve the successfulness and efficiency of active labour market policies was published with a budget of 6 HUF billion; and the Government supports with HUF 3.75 billion the development of workplace health and safety, as well as the development of labour protection and labour inspection..

A special announcement with the objective of developing sign language interpretation services is a social purpose tender. The purpose of this tender is to multiply the possibility of accessing the public services through appropriate accessibility. The fund that is available through this tender is HUF 540 million.

The same way there is HUF 1.4 billion  available in the social services area for employing Roma people with training them in the framework of the social and child welfare system.
In the area of public education an institution ensuring corrective education and  services for boys may be established in the area of public education from HUF 2.25 billion. The Government also separated   HUF 2 billion in this field for the successful tuition and education of multiply disadvantaged children. Proposers may use the money won in the framework of the tenders that have been published now and which may be applied for in all the regions, among others, for developing and executing individual development plans, for strengthening co-operations, as well as for renewing pedagogic methods.
