The ten thousandth Microenterprise Development tender has been submitted16 January 2013

Microenterprises rely on in the calls of the New Széchenyi Plan. Already 10,000 support claims have been submitted to the Hungarian Economic Development Centre. The ten thousandth tender was submitted by the family enterprise from Győr applying for support to establish a new service plant. In the framework of the most popular call of the New Széchenyi Plan, which supports the development of microenterprises, the amount granted exceeds HUF 38 billion.

Gyula E. Barta, The CEO of MAG Ltd. (Hungarian Economic Development Centre), said the following related to the submission of the ten thousandth tender: “In recent years in the framework of the New Széchenyi Plan the regulation has become more simple and transparent, we have introduced several technical acceleration measures for the submission of tenders. The fast approving support decision means fast development funding for the enterprises, maybe that is why this scheme is so popular.”

In the framework of the “Development of Microenterprises” scheme in order to support the smallest enterprises financial resources for tenders can be claimed for acquisition of assets, infrastructural and property investment and IT technology development. The ten thousandth tender was submitted by the family enterprise in Győr, who would provide a higher quality service for customers and prepare for the simultaneous performance of increasing tasks by establishing a new service plant.

The total support claim of tenders submitted to the “Development of Microenterprises” scheme exceeds HUF 59.7 billion and so far HUF 38.08 billion has been granted to beneficiaries.

MAG Ltd. keeps to the 30-day application deadline set forth by the legal regulations when processing the tenders. The decision is made within 30 days from the receipt of the tenders and may be extended by the time passing from the sending of the request for clarification and completion of documents until the receipt of the answer. The quality of the work of the applicants is decisive since both parties are needed for the success. The essential prerequisite for the drawing of the total EU funds is that the supported projects should be implemented in accordance with the regulations.

The New Széchenyi Plan encourages applicants to submit tenders based on their own long-term sustainable business plans and not on the eligible costs. Most tenders were submitted to the Enterprise Development, Science – Innovation and Green Economic Development Programme schemes and were granted support in the New Széchenyi Plan.
