Data from hundreds of thousands of projects can be queried from the new tender database19 February 2013

The project entitled ‘Uniform IT support for development policy – (FAIR – Development Policy Database and Information System)’ also supported by the European Union has entered into the implementation phase. With the HUF 2.33 billion total expenditure investment of the New Széchenyi Plan the uniform interface electronic tender administration and the online tracking of the status of each tender and contract will be possible for citizens and applicant organizations.

The project entitled ‘Uniform IT support for development policy’ has entered the implementation phase – the Ministry of National Development (MND), the National Development Agency (NDA), the Governmental Information-Technology Development Agency (GITDA) and the NISZ National Infocommunications Services Ltd. (NIS) announced in a joint press conference.
The objective of the FAIR project is to establish the Development Policy Database and Information System (FAIR) and the National Tender Management System (NTMS), furthermore the related hardware products, IT infrastructure and software environment. Providing the trainings required for using the system is also part of the project.
FAIR is going to operate as a countrywide management information, analytical and controlling system, which will ensure the uniform planning and implementation in development policy. Due to the operation of the system the data of thousands of national and European Union support schemes and nearly one hundred thousand projects are going to be quickly queryable and transparent. Through the database decision makers will be able to publish in a single window system all information relevant to tendering and communicate with the clients through the uniform interface of the FAIR central system.

At the same time with the development of the National Tender Management System (NTMS) the tender management administration and monitoring system is going to be established for the funding financed by the chapter managed appropriations of the MND thus ensuring uniform tender management.
With the realization of the FAIR project electronic tender administration and the online tracking of the status of each tender and contract will be made possible for businesses and organizations. The project significantly improves the quality of the existing public services and makes the resources for development available for a wider circle than before.
The Governmental Information-Technology Development Agency signed the Supply Agreement with0 WELT 2000 Ltd. and iFlow Ltd. as joint bidders on 14th December 2012 and the consortium led by the GITDA has to complete the project by the end of December 2013.
The total amount of funding is HUF 2,330,156,520, which is financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Hungarian State.

The communication of the FAIR project is conducted by the NISZ National Infocommunications Services Ltd.
