Developments from the reserve list can be carried out in 5 regions in the framework of the New Széchenyi Plan20 February 2013

The New Széchenyi Plan supports developments to be carried out in the areas of economy, transport, human and social services with more than HUF 14.5 billion. The Government decided to support tenders previously put on the reserve list due to the lack of funding in five regions including Central Hungary.

Pursuant to Government Decision No. 1648/2012. (XII. 19.) in the framework of Regional Operational Programmes the opportunity is given to support tenders previously put on the reserve list due to the lack of funds in five regions.
From the reserve list tenders in Central Hungary in the area of economic development a significant number of tenders can be implemented. Thus applicants can access funding in the total value of nearly HUF 3 billion.
In the framework of the grant scheme entitled ‘Complex corporate technology development for micro, small and medium enterprises’ combined with a credit guarantee 3 projects are supported with HUF 256 million in funding helping the realization of investments worth HUF 733 million. For the grant scheme entitled ‘Development of micro enterprises’ 19 projects can have access to HUF 181 million in support, which constitutes almost HUF 424 million worth of investments.  24 tenders with the objective of supporting business process management and electronic commerce can be implemented with HUF 151 million in support, furthermore the implementation of 7 business infrastructure and investment climate development projects (industrial parks, industrial areas and business incubators) is made possible in the total value of HUF 3.92 billion with nearly 1 billion funding.
With the New Széchenyi Loan another HUF 1.26 billion can be disbursed to final beneficiaries.

Due to the Government’s decision HUF 7 billion funding can be provided for day nursery care and the development of kindergartens in the Central Hungary Region. Thus with the HUF 2.77 billion support provided for 18 tenders the access to basic social services and basic child welfare services – day nursery care – will be improved and 25 kindergarten development projects received HUF 4.25 billion support in total in Budapest and Pest County.
Pursuant to the Government Decision in the North Great Plain Region, in Újfehértó and Nagyhalász, two kindergartens will have the opportunity to carry out developments due to the HUF 312 million investment. In the North Hungary Region an industrial development project has become eligible, furthermore industrial area and water protection developments can also be carried out in the total value of HUF 2 billion for all areas considered.

The Government also decided to provide support for water protection developments in the South Great Plain Region in order to protect civilians and environmental assets. Road developments can also be carried out in the region and several roads leading to the country border are being prepared. In the South Great Plain Region access to basic social services and basic child welfare services will be improved, furthermore kindergarten developments will also be implemented. The total value of the different investments exceeds HUF 1.5 billion. Following the Government Decision in the West Transdanubia Region water protection developments can be carried out; a previously planned cycle path and a road leading to the country border can be built with HUF 731 million in support.

Pursuant to the Government Decision made in December the New Széchenyi Plan supports developments in the areas of economy, transport, human and social services with more than HUF 14.5 billion.
