The President of the National Development Agency has resigned13 May 2013
As of 30th April 2013 Zoltán Petykó, the President of the National Development Agency has resigned on his own initiative, by mutual consent from the office he held since June 2010.
Zoltán Petykó made it clear when he was appointed that he would undertake the position until the organization of the NDA becomes capable of fully absorbing the development funds available for Hungary. In view of the fact that the organization has announced calls for proposals covering nearly 100% of the HUF 8,200 billion amount and 95% has already been committed, Zoltán Petykó has submitted his resignation according to the originally planned schedule and the resignation was accepted by Mrs. László Németh, Minister of Development.
Zoltán Petykó will capitalize on his expertise primarily in business life, but will continue to perform important tasks for the Government as the Chairman of the Monitoring Committee of MAVIR (Hungarian Transmission System Operator Co. Ltd.) and the Member of the Board of Széchenyi Tőkealap-kezelő Zrt. (Széchenyi Capital Fund Management Co. Ltd.).
