Faster electronic administration for EU applications 5 August 2013

Electronic administration has been gaining ground in the management of EU applications and this way applicants can faster receive the support granted and bureaucratic processes are simplified. Administration has become more simple at several phases; as of July this year the Grant Deeds – the contracts about the EU support - are received by applicants faster and in an electronic form.

In order to relieve the administrative burdens the execution and delivery of Grant Agreements has been simplified and carried out electronically, consequently, the course of administration will be faster and more effective.

As the latest phase of the establishment of the electronic application system as of July 2013 for certain applications the issuance and delivery of Grant Deeds to beneficiaries is carried out electronically.

Previously the document was mailed to the beneficiaries by the Intermediate Body acting on behalf of the National Development Agency with several days of lead time.
From now on the electronically signed document is also accessible – from the moment of execution - via the so called Electronic Application Administration interface accessible from the NDA’s homepage.

The modifications in the rules of procedure and the underlying IT developments in the recent period have significantly decreased the bureaucratic burdens on applicants and the institutional system of support and accelerated the payment of support.
One of the most recognized innovations is the complex service, as a result of which real time information flow can be ensured via the Internet between the applicant and the authority announcing the call.
Due to this innovation the financial and administrative burden of printing, filing and mailing thousands of letters can be saved and applicants can start to perform the commitments related to their project shortly after the conclusion of the contract.
